Dear Parents, Family and Friends of our school community…

Imagine a place where all our children can learn, pray and play together, side by side surrounded by the sights and sounds of our very  own natural resource, the beautiful escarpment. A place where the teachers, educational assistants, day care personnel and clergy can bring our children to receive lessons and participate in activities that celebrate themselves, each other and the wonders of God. A place that welcomes all our children, including those with physical, cognitive and developmental challenges, to interact equally. With your purchase of a peace dove we can build this space and it will no longer be a dream, but a reality. Environmentalists, reports written by eco-friendly and health experts are telling us to get our children outside and the more time outside the better. We are blessed with children who are energized to learn, and enthusiastic teaching staff and a beautiful new building.  The combination of hese three great elements has crearted a school atmosphere that is second to none. But we want to do more. We want to take our students and their thinking, outside the box and what better way to do that than to get the children out into the Garden!

The Peace Garden Project included:

- The rejuvenation of the Peace Garden

-  An outdoor classroom

- An interactive play space

- The trail of tranquility

- An outdoor theatre

The entire project is designed with full access for all students including a ramped entrance, 4 foot wide walkways throughout, inclusive classroom tables, activity panels that are designed for children of varying abilities, and many shade trees.
