Sister Immaculata distributes the Queen Cakes.
I was so amazed to receive an array of beautiful locally made gifts: sculptures of African animals, a Kenyan bracelet and a cool flag purse…wow! Asante sana!
The students were excited to see me receive the gifts from their school, Shalom. They broke into applause during the proceedings, lead by the smallest boy: 1-2-3! 1-2-3!
New ideas and projects require others to receive them. Thank you so much to head-teacher Richard and all of the staff and students at Shalom School – for being so open.
At the end of the day, I walked pass my favourite donkey…
and walked back down the hill. Asante sana to all.
