World Water Day

I am water and I know who I am. – Class 6 Student

On World Water Day at Shalom School we reflected on the value and dignity of water as central to life and healthy community.  The students wrote poems, and made a water  commitment. 


Access to safe drinkable water is a basic and universal human right, since it is essential to human survival and, as such, is a condition for the exercise of other human rights. – Pope Francis

Who owns water? Should natural resources be privately owned?
